Finally after a long time I can post on my blog.

So..what's been happening to me after all this time?

1. I bought a vinyl record. I don't have a player, but I'm happy with it just being around.

        AC/DC-HIGHWAY TO HELL

2. I went to the Slash concert on Aug. 5.
Slash was awesome, and him opening for AC/DC must have been epic. Before the concert started they were playing AC/DC too.
I was in the mosh pit where the crowd was so crazy I couldn't even get a good shot (I did get a vague blurry shot of him playing vertical guitar,though). Myles Kennedy has an amazing voice.

3. Band tees.
I have, for AC/DC, Heat Seeker , Highway To Hell, and one of topless Angus. I use the last as a pajama of sorts, lol. I also bought a The Who (it's orange, that's kinda rare when most band tees are black), Beatles (A Hard Day's Night), and Guns n' Roses. And they're all bought from the same guy on the third floor of Amcorp Mall, save for the topless one. That one's from ground floor, Victoria Music Centre. And yes I HAVE gotten compliments. HAH, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I GET RANDOM GUYS COMPLIMENTING ME ON MY DRESSING. (That has NEVER happened with any other type of clothing, and NO it's not because, well. They don't care about the Rosie part (I meant 39. The 42 helps. Really. And I'm not 56.
Never will be.). And they're all Malay or American (Australian? I dunno, can't tell). Chinese...well I've never gotten any compliments from them. I guess it's because most of them listen to Chinese music. I've gotten like, 5 compliments on the Heat Seeker shirt. 2 on Highway To Hell. 1 on The Who.
The things they say to me....

"Y'know, I saw AC/DC live. Angus is the most hyper 55-year old I have ever seen and that's not an exaggeration." (Couple of teenage Americans.)

At a hotel buffet.. (was with my friend)
Well actually, I was HOPING that the guy (he was like, in his early 40's,also caucasian)would turn around and say something, so I stood near him. My friend was standing next to me.
*looks at me* 'Oh sorry, am I holding you girls back?'
Me: 'Oh,no.'
'Okay.' *turns back, then looks at me again* 'AC/DC?'
Me, thinking: It worked!! 'Yeah..'
'Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!'
Then he walked away, and I actually RAN over to my mum to tell her (now that I think about it, I don't think she actually cared).
Then that guy calls me over and says to me,
'I saw AC/DC YEARS ago. They were a bunch of sweaty, dirty, little guys, playing the loudest, best rock n' roll, and they were amazing. Now I know you won't be able to see them live anytime soon, but I just want you to know, AC/DC is amazing, and you should never, ever be ashamed of being a fan.'
And when he was about to leave, he CAME OVER TO OUR TABLE.. and he said,
'Don't give up on AC/DC!!'

When I bought the Heat Seeker shirt : (Malay guy)
'Wow, gadis Cina pun dengar lagu rock!'
[Translation: Wow, even a Chinese girl listens to rock music!]

......well, that pretty much sums it all up.

So I came back from Genting earlier today.
And during a nice refreshing chat with Tom, I downloaded some fonts.
AC/DC, Kiss, and some others.
And today is very special because... well..
It's Evelyn's birthday.

DID NOT SEE THIS COMING. Must be because I watched the Anything Goes MV before I decided to call it a day. I better get an FOB dream soon..!

Okay. So me and my mom just finished an AC/DC concert and are at a shopping mall of some sort, and she's at the counter buying some stuff. I'm just standing around waiting, and all of a sudden Angus Young comes walking along, in a black schoolboy suit. (Angus looks as old as he is now, I don't exactly dream about the past, you know.) I don't remember who goes up to whom first, but we end up shaking hands and I call my mom ("Hey Mom! Look at this!!" LMAO that's what I said..). She looks and notices Angus, and she comes over saying, "Ohmygodangusyoungwhatapleasuretomeetyou!!" (Got so excited she slurred the words together. Lol.) She then invites him for a meal (WHY?). The only thing weirder than that is Angus actually says okay, and the next thing I know, we're at some fancy restaurant. I'm sitting next to Angus and mum is opposite him, and my aunt comes along. She asks "Who is THAT?" *points to Angus*

And I'm like, "It's Angus Young! HELLO!!"... 

Then I wake up. I am SERIOUSLY WEIRD.

So it's a dream, because anything that concerns Angus Young playing "Thunderstruck" can't be a nightmare, right? RIGHT?

And I got my iPhone!!! Finally. It's syncing right now, and it's taking such a long time..

To tell the truth, Fall Out Boy WAS A THOUSAND MILLION BILLION TIMES BETTER than AC/DC.

Anyway. After quite a long silence (I'm sure it was only about a month but it feels like months to me.) this picture and video came up on Buzznet. Right now I've only got the picture but one thing is better than nothing, RIGHT?!

Well I went to Amcorp Mall today and I brought my portable ATM along (you should know who that is). Turns out the shop had a whole bunch of AC/DC remastered CDs (No Ballbreaker, T.N.T., High Voltage, Flick Of The Switch, Let There Be Rock, Powerage, Fly On The Wall, or The Razor's Edge though. But they had everything else, including the live albums.*) and Iron Man 2 (the album,lol) so I took everything.


Okay there was no way I could've taken everything. They were all imported and each one cost RM59.90, including Iron Man. So I just took Iron Man, Highway To Hell, and Back In Black. That set HIM back about 200 bucks. Evil walks, but he's a cold hearted man (reference to songs intended**).


HE'S LUCKY I FORGOT TO CHECK FOB CDS OR HIS CREDIT CARD WOULD'VE MAXED OUT.

Been so very long since I posted...
I cannot stop listening to Black Ice...it's on shuffle right now actually.
And to clear things up,
NO AC/DC IS NOT MY FAVORITEST EVER BAND.
Okay it is if you count singers (that being PATRICK FREAKING VAUGHN FREAKING STUMP) not to be bands. FOB doesn't count anymore, really, because they broke up. Unless they got back together. Then AC/DC is #2. If not they're #1.
Still VERY OBSESSED with Patrick. Well yes my family hates that my door is covered with photos of him, but I think they all agree that that's better than sticking up photos of Angus. That'd just be..weird. WEIRD LIKE PATRICK WITH TATTOOS. And believe me, that isn't really his thing. Patrick's thing. Ugh, that sounded weird.
Anyway. I got two band tees. FINALLY.
Both AC/DC, but they didn't have FOB, and I don't even expect them to..
I wonder why nobody wants to borrow the shirts. Maybe it's Angus?? Dunno.



Oh,and my mom finally got me a dog!

Tired...

I think I'm not done with my downloading. Found a '09 720p AC/DC concert. (Too bad it isn't FOB, that would've KICKED ASS.)

Doesn't have as many parts as this one I'm downloading now (41 parts is killing me!!) but omg.. -_-; well, at least it'll keep me (and my computer, and wifi) busy...

I HAVE to finish this one tonight so I might as well say what it is.
*sigh*
It's a 1996 AC/DC show in Madrid, and it's titled "No Bull". Rather fitting.
Yes, it's blu-ray (DUH,1080p doesn't show up any other way) but I have a player on my com that can play HD videos. And a fantastic converter that can convert practically EVERYTHING (excluding a few formats). TAKE THAT, VIDEO.I don't need that dumb super-expensive Blu-Ray DVD player (although it would be uber-cool).
Anyway.
Apparently the video quality isn't exactly a perfect HD (please, it was 1996 when they recorded) but the sound is fantastic. Well I'll just have to see for myself won't I? Also there's something called "Angus Cam". Wonder what that's about?...

I actually bought Black Ice. I ACTUALLY BOUGHT BLACK ICE. And I DON'T FEEL A PINCH OF GUILT.Because I didn't use any of my money, or my mom's money. No. Was my idiotic paternal side's money. I would've bought a band tee too but there wasn't anything really too special about any of the tees today. For a local retail edition it looks pretty imported. I really wanted to wait for May trip to Melbourne but you better get it while it's hot. =P

And my mom got another iPhone (3gS this time) so that means her old iPhone is MINE!!
=D Well I'm not using it until I reset the entire system, and fix the little cracks in the cover, and the tiny wifi range, and the erratic system, and etc etc etc....

But I managed to make ringtones for iPhones!!
Just take the song clip (don't tell me you don't know how to cut out part of a song), convert it to M4A, then change the .m4a in the file name to .m4r . Put it where you want it, double click it and itunes will play it in the ringtones section. And when you sync your phone it will be in the settings, with the other ringtones.

Well I'm getting tired and I still have stuff to download (what I'm downloading, I'll say when I finish). So that's it.

I remembered watching some AC/DC music video quite long ago with my aunt [I think it was around the time Black Ice came out.] and she commented on Angus wearing shorts. XP
Okay, so they're pretty old, but that's a trademark. Like Patrick's hats. Or sideburns. Wait a minute, he doesn't have either...

Did I mention I just got this like, 2 days ago? =P

...I know of no way to convince you that's Patrick.
I just know it is him.

Well, I was supposed to wait until we visited Australia to buy Black Ice but since I had a few spare empty CDs I decided to make my own instead =P lucky for me the burning went okay and the tracks don't skip.
And my mom said she LIKES "Rock n' Roll Train"....! DID NOT see that one coming.

Just came back from cinema, watched "How To Train Your Dragon". I really wished it was in 3D but they closed all the 3D shows because there was a fire. The Night Fury dragon (which Hiccup [the guy] named Toothless, because he has retractable teeth, lol) is sooooo cute..

Also, there's a "Check Links" function on ProjectW now. I just noticed it =P. That'd be useful.

My downloader is punishing me...the bigger the file I download the SLOWER it becomes!!

Either way, I watched the entire thing (blame me for being super-obsessed XP) but the ONLY song I remember is Sophomore Slump. Hellooooo,Patrick played the drums. That's already good enough, but playing drums AND singing Sophomore Slump? THIS GUY IS LIKE, KILLING ME.

There's something distinctively different about him now.
It's not just the skinny,it's how he looks generally..no more jean jackets or hats there! And his face. There's no boy there, just a man who's got it going for himself. He's grown. Well of course he's still got the boy in him.

If nothing can't convince you that's the real Patrick this will. There's no smile like this anywhere else.
Oh,and OF COURSE I watched his solo perf on youtube. "Love, Selfish Love" indeed.

One last question.
WHEN IS THAT GONNA BE ON THE RADIO?!
Malaysian radio better play it at least once or I'm not going to listen radio at all.
