There's something distinctively different about him now.
It's not just the skinny,it's how he looks generally..no more jean jackets or hats there! And his face. There's no boy there, just a man who's got it going for himself. He's grown. Well of course he's still got the boy in him.

If nothing can't convince you that's the real Patrick this will. There's no smile like this anywhere else.
Oh,and OF COURSE I watched his solo perf on youtube. "Love, Selfish Love" indeed.

I downloaded some HD FOB videos- I Don't Care [Live at the '09 Pepsi Smash Super Bowl, 29/1/09] and What A Catch,Donnie [Late Night Show, 10/8/09]. Patrick had some huge changes in those few months. He thinned down SO much.
What A Catch Patrick is good/better/best Patrick =) Not too skinny (Like now. Not saying he looks bad now (it's hot!!) but..) and not too..er..curvy.
His hat's got a little ribbon on the band =P

And if you're prone to epilepsy don't ever see I Don't Care performed live unless you want to get a seizure. With that flashing background even I got a bit confused *_*.

Yeah. Why? Well..because I'm sitting on the bed (Well it's not my bed. It's the guest bed,which also happens to have a better headboard than mine. To lie back on-rod iron or fabric. Pick one.) and typing away with my guitar under my arm. Sheet music everywhere. *sigh* Knocked the guitar pretty bad earlier. Chipped off the head a bit =[ Oh well. It's mine anyway. At least it didn't get smashed.

In other news. My mom decided on my O-level subjects. And didn't tell me. Is that FAIR?! Maybe that's why I'm so pissed I knocked my guitar on the wall,leaving a little blue stain (I'll have to cover it up with a sticker of some sort.)..

Can you imagine that my brother can fall asleep listening to me play? [Ian's probably going "Yeah right." now but I could care less] And if my mom can't handle a 6-stringed guitar without even using her left hand at all,how is she going to handle the 25-stringed zither downstairs? ...she's the same as her sister. NO INDIVIDUAL CONTROL.

Well,since I've got some scanning to do (ugh,emails) I might as well update,and it's been sooo long. So yeah. I guess I might as well torture you about FOB while I'm waiting for the stuff to scan...
Oh,and something that doesn't have anything to do with this at all? Lol...my fingers hurt from playing guitar. =P

So. I first heard the name "Fall Out Boy" in '05 with "Sugar We're Going Down".
I listened to it on the radio until I became utterly addicted to Patrick's voice (pathetic me XD). So I just downloaded the single (Which also happened to be my first downloaded song.Yay for firsts!) and that was it...

Until '07. The epic release of Infinity On High. The album that got me obsessed. I guess I owe it in part to a sale in a CD store in China (Forgot where though. I think it was Guilin but I could be wrong.). Buy 2 free 1. (What a deal!) So that's where I got my China edition of Infinity On High, which was missing Thriller & Hum Hallelujah :'( . So I went and downloaded those,and gave the entire album a listen-through. Well,all I can say is Patrick Vaughn Stump is a freaking genius. I loved the entire album. So I took a superlink opportunity (Took me ALL NIGHT.) and downloaded the rest of the FOB album arsenal. (Album arsenal. I like that!) Obviously I loved everything, and I knew they had some unreleased tracks so I searched a little harder and found the rest. That's about maybe 210+ songs...yes,I'm crazy.

I was lucky for Folie a' Deux because after I bought it (the regular version,without the bonus tracks) I found the bonus tracks online XD. G.I.N.A.S.F.S. took me HALF A YEAR to find! It's Hard To Say "I Do",When I Don't was actually pretty easy. All it took was a Google search =P.
I was supposed to get Believers Never Die for Christmas last year. Well,I did,but I waited 1 month because NO-ONE stocked the CD with the DVD. It finally came Christmas morning =P.

I knew I had a "deprived" IOH so I always hid it away (Unlike the other albums,which are displayed on my shelf.) . So I knew about this store (which is not really near to my house) which usually stocked rare cds (One time I went,they had Back In Black by AC/DC. In CD form. How awesome is that?). So one fine day I went there and guess what-they had an imported limited edition IOH that'd just came in earlier. Even the shop lady was surprised at "how fast imported CDs sell out". Hahaha. It's just luck. [But they have one imported CD that just won't get bought. Also AC/DC. Black Ice.]

How did I get my imported FAD? Well I heard about this shop in Melaka (which is owned by my auntie's friend,lol) that could make you your own cds (your own tracks,just not in original quality). So I thought, "Maybe they have some CDs I'm looking for." Of course I was looking for Take This To Your Grave, My Heart Will Always Be The B-Side To My Tongue, and the coveted Evening Out With Your Girlfriend (which only seems to be available in England,but I thought I'd give it a try). The only 3 FOB cds I don't have. (The Split EP doesn't count 'cause it's got Project Rocket in it,but I don't have that either and if I did, I'd FREAK.) I didn't find them (after quite a search) but I did find the "cardboard" edition (of course,I mean imported,limited edition =P) of FAD. Now I definitely already had a copy of the retail edition (as I already said) so I (somehow) convinced my mom to let me buy this one,and I "smuggled off" the old one. (You know what you got =P.)

...yeah. That's about it. Well,if you survived this far I've got something for you!!

My mom is watching girl's week on American Idol. Somebody sang "The Climb" by Miley and (even though I REALLY don't want to say it) Miley sang it better. The girl was just so pitchy and squeaky it kinda hurt. But then I heard someone else sing Creed. Hell,the girl turned it into a rnb song,and it actually turned out pretty well. And someone is singing "The Scientist" by Coldplay. Okay,it's a half-dead performance. Now do you see why I hate girls week?
And did I mention that someone (in guy's week) sang SWGD? He practically killed the first verse,he was trying to sing it all funk-y. Then he got to the chorus and even I'm impressed.
I'm still wondering whether it's "GUN complex" or "GOD complex". The guy sang it "gun".

Someone help me!!

In guy's week, Aaron Kelly (the only name I can remember from all the contestants this year,LoL) sang "My Girl". And the last guy performing sang "Lips Of An Angel". AWESOME.
And some guy wrecked "I Don't Want To Be". Seriously,if you don't have a voice like Gavin,don't do Gavin.

Well I came back from my 9-day holiday a few hours ago,and I've *finally* settled down for today.
Can you imagine that I rode every ride in the HK Disneyland in about 5 hours?
I finally got to watch the Golden Mickeys this year! Nothing much though. =/
Plus,I rode the spinning teacups so many times,but I didn't get dizzy. =D
And I took a video of the fireworks!


When you go to HK,you're definitely going shopping. So,as much as you probably don't want to know,here's what I bought:

1. Ipod covers. 6 in fact.
2. Hoodies. BUT OF COURSE.
3. Butterfly notebook (leather)
4. Some shitty copy LV (which broke btw XD)
5. A Guitar strap
6. 2 Stickers for guitar
7. 12 guitar picks (they're pretty much the same,lol)
8. A NBC* coin
9. A hat (white,with gold lettering)
10. Mini perfumes (salvador dali,tous,roberto cavali,etc.)
11. Ed Hardy shoes (skulls & fish)
    

Yep,I bought a lot.
And I ate a lot. Well,not really,I didn't exactly eat too much. But there's food everywhere. My mom,on the other hand,ate a lot. I actually managed to lose a few kgs there. Yay for me! XD

Also,one more thing,which I will tell you tomorrow,because it's 1am here and I HAVE to sleep.
